Material redesign was a big project I worked on as a Marketing Assistant for the Portland State University Career Center (UCC). The project was an update of the materials used by
the center for promoting its services among students.
As for now, I have designed Summary of Services trifold, Workshop Calendar, an infographic, a business card, and a poster. Summary of Services includes multiple versions of the brochure to target students of various majors in different buildings throughout campus. Fields of
study featured in the trifold include Art and Design, Education, Political Science, Health, Environmental Science, Social Work, Business, Engineering, Computer Science,
Civil Engineering.
As the main brand color, green had to be present in every material, along with the
university's most commonly used Acumin typeface, and, of course, logo.
The challenge of the project was to create more bold and modern looking materials
while also following the PSU brand guidelines. At the same time, I had to keep all
the materials cohesive in style (as a set of assets representing the same department)
while adjusting each design element to the specifics of different formats and purposes.
The main goal of the infographic was to inform potential employers about PSU's diverse community and different ways
they can recruit the students.
This was the last project I worked on at the Career Center before graduation. I wanted to make it playful to balance the amount of copy presented in the infographic. To do that I mixed statistical facts with colorful  illustrations and played with different weights and sizes of the Acumin
typeface family.

The poster's main purpose is
to spread awareness about the Career Center and its services among the Portland State students. The concept behind the design can be briefly described as a chaos that people face when choosing, pursuing, changing their career. Although for some people, career may seem like a linear path,
in fact, it is more a disorganized, messy, and confusing process, especially for students.
