PDXPODFEST is a shortened name of the Portland Podcast Festival, an imaginary event that is held in Portland, OR annually. The festival attracts visitors from all around the US and even other countries due to its fun environment and interesting guests.
PDXPODFEST was a class project I did in my Sophomore year at Portland State University. The goal of that assignment was to design 3 posters for an imaginary podcast festival in Portland. The theme for the event I came up with was Women in Science. The event would be an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge women scientists and their achievements throughout history and of today. That is why the posters show 3 women scientists Ada Lovelace, Rachel Carson, and Marie Curie.
